On the 14th of December 2021, the Circular Head Saints nomination to return to the NWFL was considered at the NWFL Annual General Meeting by the Board.
Following on from a vote by all that were present and eligible to vote at the meeting, the Saints were admitted back in to the competition.
‘This is a fantastic outcome and we are delighted to have the Saints back in the competition being a foundation club and the prospect of having seven teams in our Senior Men competition.’ NWFL President Andrew Richardson said.
The NWFL would like to thank the Circular Head Council for also supporting the push by assisting with the fees associated with using the facilities in Smithton.
The Saints will only field Seniors and Under 18s in season 2022 and will look to expand on that with Reserves and Womens sides in 2023 and onwards.
